Exercises for most common analogic and digital motion sensor installation, adjustment and troubleshooting used in modern automation equipment for implementation and supervision. Exercise structures are developed to meet the professional skill requirements of the industry.


After completing the exercises the student:

  • Is able to install commonly used industrial motion sensor types to different target locations
  • Can seek information about the structure of different sensor types’ measurement systems
  • Is able to couple different sensor types electrically on a measurement and adjustment system as the manufacturer has instructed and adjust the motion sensors to a specific measurement area
  • While studying the student will concentrate on analog and digital measurement and adjustment system’s signals, so that the student is able to perform compensations of linearity errors and troubleshooting of measurement and adjustment systems using proper equipment


Training equipment includes:

  • Exercise platform, which contains a power supply, linear and angular motion equipment, monitor with linearity error compensation (PC-adjustable parameters), terminal blocks and wiring channels
  • Motion sensors:
    • Analog, capacitive proximity sensor (4-20 mA)
    • Potentiometer (0-10 V, 0-20 mA and 4-20mA)
    • Resolver (analog and digital outputs)
    • Pulse sensor (two-channel + zero)
    • Programmable absolute sensor + program (Gray/Binary) with installation accessories
  • Measurement converter
  • Oscillator and R/D-converter unit
  • Wiring and coupling accessories
  • Simulation unit

Training equipment consists of industrial components.
